Important Update: New Digital Landing Cards for India

Important Update- New Digital Landing Cards for India

From 1 October 2025, India has introduced digital landing cards, which travellers can complete up to 72 hours before arrival. All non-Indian passport holders, including those with an OCI card, must complete a landing card before entering the country.

During the transition period, paper landing cards will still be accepted. However, completing the digital landing card is recommended for a faster and smoother arrival experience. For updates on when paper forms will no longer be accepted, please visit India's Bureau of Immigration.

Digital landing cards can be completed via the Indian Visa website (e-Arrival) prior to travel. Travellers requiring a visa to visit India should note that the e-Arrival card is different from an e-Visa. Once submitted, travellers will receive a QR code confirmation, which must be presented upon arrival in India.

If your booking to India has been made through Uniglobe Gemini Travel, our team is available to guide you through the digital landing card process and answer any questions.
