These updates will introduce new ways of supporting and rewarding loyalty. Below are the key changes and what they mean for you: ### New Ways to Earn Tier Points Starting from **1 April 2025**, Members will earn **1 Tier Point for every £1 of eligible spend** on British Airways. This includes: - Every £1 of eligible spend on flights (base fare and carrier-imposed charges) - Select extras, such as prepaid seating and additional baggage - Contributions to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) - The total cost of your British Airways Holiday package (not just the flight) - Spend-based offers on the British Airways American Express Premium Plus Card ### Loyalty Rewarded With the launch of The British Airways Club, Members will have more opportunities to earn and progress through Tier Status levels: - **Blue:** No threshold - **Bronze:** 3,500 Tier Points - **Silver:** 7,500 Tier Points - **Gold:** 20,000 Tier Points Additionally, your **Lifetime Tier Points** will be recalculated to ensure your loyalty is recognized under the new system. If you’ve already booked a flight beyond 1 April 2025, your Tier Points will be awarded based on the previous calculation method, so rest assured your points will be honored proportionally.
