Important Update: U.S. Entry Requirements Have Changed

ESTA- Electronic System For Travel Authorisation
From 30 September 2025, travellers using the U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP) will see changes to the cost of applying for an ESTA.
Who needs an ESTA?
Travellers visiting the United States for business or tourism for up to 90 days must hold a valid ESTA if they have a passport from a Visa Waiver Program country.
This includes travellers from the UK, Ireland, and most EU nations.
New Cost (from 30 September 2025):
£29.41 / US $40
New U.S. Visa Integrity Fee
An additional fee is being introduced for travellers who require a U.S. visa rather than an ESTA.
Who does this apply to?
Travellers from non-Visa Waiver Program countries who must apply for a visa to enter the United States.
Cost:
Standard visa fees apply (vary by visa type)
Plus a new Visa Integrity Fee of at least £183 / US $250
At present, the U.S. has indicated that this Integrity Fee may be refundable if travellers meet all visa requirements however, no refund process has been implemented yet.
